In order to accelerate our growth, we are looking for a German-speaking Key Account Manager for Central Europe (CE).  You would preferably, but not necessarily, be based in Berlin.


  • You have experience in sales, preferably in the energy or technology industry.
  • You have a degree in business or engineering.
  • You are fluent in German, besides English. Other languages, especially Dutch, French or Polish, are appreciated.
  • You work well with Microsoft Office and can quickly learn other software.

Your Tasks 

Your tasks will be centered especially around growing Nord Pool’s presence in CE, with a focus on the German-speaking region. Our presence in CE currently includes Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Poland.

  • Attract new customers by managing the sales cycle from contacting potential customers to negotiating contracts and getting customers on board.
  • Manage existing customers, including some strategic accounts.
  • Establish a strong network with energy industry stakeholders, represent and promote Nord Pool in external forums.
  • Work with customers and external stakeholders to understand their demands and industry trends to be able to shape an innovative and competitive offering in the region.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Markets, Strategic Accounts, Operations and Digital Office teams.

You are:

  • Structured and analytical with attention to detail, independent and with great communication and relationship skills.
  • You have completed higher education within IT, engineering, energy or economics.
  • Someone who enjoys traveling up to 50% of your time, mainly in continental Europe.
  • Innovative, energetic, optimistic and ambitious, but not aggressive.
