My name is Marie Mullany. I was born in South Africa but I'm resident in Finland. I am a Software Developer.

What do you like most about your job?

I love solving problems with code, every day that I get to design and write a piece of working code is a good day.

What is the hardest part of your job?

Juggling time between tasks when support tickets require attention.

What is the best thing about working in Nord Pool?

A really great atmosphere that allows you to experiment and find the best technological fit for your requirements.

What is the most exciting challenge you have had during your time at Nord Pool?

Development of a multi-input message system that integrates to live streaming and pullable data outputs.

What motivates you?

A love of technology, a desire to learn.

What do you think about working in the energy sector?

I think the energy sector is one of the most critical in the world right now. Between the movement to green energy, the growing awareness of climate change and the cost of energy, it is one of the most exciting spaces in technology.
